The same job in every town
The process does not change with the postcode. The person who surveys your job prices it. Our own crew puts it up. The tag on the standard is our word, dated and signed, that the scaffold was inspected and found fit for use as built on that date. What changes is the building and the street: a Westcliff terrace with no rear access is a different scaffold from a Chafford Hundred detached with a drive. Four highway authorities issue the licences (Southend-on-Sea City Council, Essex Highways, Havering and Thurrock) and each town page says which one applies.
